I'm honestly considering DNFing this book 🤢 I think I'm just not the target audience here. I'm not really sure what I was expecting, but can't relate with the way the main character thinks or acts at ALL (usually not a problem for me but this book just makes me majorly uncomfortable)

The only reason I'm holding on is because maybe something else will happen? I'm not sure if it's worth it tbh 😬

Trying to get back into reading physical books since my new job and really short commute doesn't leave a lot of room for audiobook time. The start of this book has really interested me so far!

I'm seriously having a hard time finishing books this year. I really wanted to read a book with a neurodivergent character but she felt more like a caricature than anything. Just not the vibe, again. DNF.

DNF: The main character ain't it for me (she just spends a lot of time ogling over her boss, ew). The dialogue is trying to act like it's funny when it really isn't (feels like a kid who thinks that anything they say with the word ass in it is funny). Maybe high schoolers or middle schoolers would like it idk, just not my thing.

The main character is originally from Camden, DE which is fun because it's like 20 minutes from where I live now. I didn't know that going into the book, it was just a fun little surprise.

This book is a lot... Definitely glad that the author put content warnings right in the beginning but yikes. It's good but it's just a lot to handle. I would be going through it faster but I just need to pause it because it's just too much sometimes.

This book was like Divergent but with dragons, but not in a good way. This book was just 100% tropes but also not in a good way. Every major plot point followed a very cookie cutter formula and I basically knew how the story was going to end in the beginning. I really wanted to like it, I think maybe a middle school version of me might have, so I don't want to be mean to the book.... buuuut I didn't enjoy it. Sorry.

It's giving "I'm not like the other girls" and has a very obvious one way love triangle where two dudes will be fighting over the main character. Feels like Divergent but with dragons...I'm hoping it doesn't follow that stereotypical formula but I have a feeling it will.

There's a lot of hype about this book which makes me worried that I'll be disappointed. However, my boss recommended it to me so I feel like I have to read it lol

Still gigglin' and kicking my feet...the CHOKEHOLD this book has on me. I'm definitely finishing it today but I'm gonna be sad when it's over. It has been a nice palate cleanser from the books I typically read.

Seriously trying to decide if I should chuck this book or not. Was looking for a fun spooky Christmas read and it has decent reviews but I've got major qualms
1.) The author is so fat phobic I can't take it
2.) The author has used the hard R N word as a descriptor twice
3.) If I hear the words "milky mommy tits" one more time, I'm going to fckn lose it

It's been almost 9 hours and we still haven't covered all the material in the description on the back. I feel like too much of this book is just explaining stuff that was already covered, again. I also feel like you shouldn't give away most of the book contents on the back????

LOVING this book... Maybe it's the scientist/ pathologist in me but I can't get enough of everything that is going on here. I have a feeling I'm going to tear through this book very quickly

I'm putting this book down, I'm not sure if I'm going to finish it or not. It's just a little too gritty for me, and I feel like a lot of it is just nasty without real purpose. Terrible vibes.
