Ugh. Will finish and read book 2, but this writing style is reaalllyyy juvenile.

Only like 7-8% in and it’s already shocking behavior. Can’t wait for this train wreck 😊

So far, it’s easy to get through and is really holding my interest. However, I could do without some of the modern language.

I strongly dislike the FMC. She’s extremely rude. I can see the personality shift where she becomes better, but this is a long way through the book to keep acting this way.

I very rarely DNF books, but this might be my 1st of the year. The writing and grammar and structural mistakes in this are SO noticeable that is all I am focusing on. And I’m only on page 34…

I already am struggling with the writing slightly. Hopefully it picks up!

I’m conflicted. On the one hand, this is interesting and riveting and I like the storyline, on the other, I dislike all these characters and plot lines, lol 😂 it’s complicated!

Super easy (but definitely spicy)… almost like an introduction, like a dip your toes, to fantasy.

Mia Sheridan is one of those authors that everything she writes that I have read, has been absolutely amazing. I’ve heard nothing but good things about this book so I am excited to get into it!
