I’m listening to this on Audible and I’m really enjoying it so far! I really love the descriptive language of the world and how right and intricate the mythology and religious systems are.

I’m listening to the audiobook and I like the story so far! I really like this author and her character Elin. This book is told from multiple perspectives so that’s interesting. The narration is ok, I wish the narrator wasn’t so monotone during tense moments where the atmosphere in the writing clearly shifts but that’s just personal preference.

Holy crap this book pulled me right in from the first chapter! I’ve never read anything from this author before and so far I really like their writing style specifically the setting descriptions. This gives me a bit of Dickens with it set in the 1800’s (I think) and the creepy landscape reminds me a bit of Great Expectations…

I’m on chapter 5 so far and it’s really good very haunting and sad
