Yeah, this, much like jitterbug perfume, is getting a permanent place in my mind palace

Takin this one real slow.
It's honestly so refreshing reading something so understanding of the nuance of it's subject matter yet comprehensive after reading wordslut lol

Started off really enjoying this, still enjoying it, but it's quickly falling into the same Sedaris Drone that turns me off from his writing

John Waters, filthiest person alive. Love love love this

Insane how one could read this and not think Oscar Wilde was gay. My goodness. It's about a boy trying to avoid twink death

Rereading this in a time when we never needed these words as much as we do right now.

Had to take several breaks reading the last few chapters. Infuriating

I'm shelving this one. It's by no means bad, but nothing really happens and I don't have it in me to power through it. But honestly it has given me a stronger appreciation for Crying In The H Mart.

I can't say I completely hate this book but it's reading like a Wattpad story; Down to the surface level concepts that seem like they were taken straight from a teenagers diary.

Just when I think I understand what is happening.......

Knocking out my to-read list- This one has sat at the top for a long time so I am very excited to get into it!

I didn't expect to burn through this but there're so many aspects of this book to like that just make for a really pleasurable read

Still chipping away! Depressed woman is Depressed

Ok- I couldn't wait to finish any of my other books before picking this up, mainly because I know I'm gonna eat this up and finish it fairly quickly. Needless to say, this is already a fun read!

I really really really like this book and I really really really like Leonard Cohen. I started the book today and I'm nearly halfway done. The first story reminds me heavily of Camus' The Stranger. It's been such a nice break from Ishmael which I'm very close to shelving.
