Overall I thought it was a very good book. It took a bit of time to really get into it the story, but was mostly a book I didn't struggle to put down. However, I think that is mainly due to differences in cultural preferences in literature.
I found the story incredibly thought provoking and interesting. The science in the book felt both real and grounded, especially as since the real references were very good.
