Holy f*** is the scene in chapter 4 embarrassing to read - I don’t need 6 reminders that the character 'doesn't know herself' and god damn, nothing says cringe/faking like yelling god and everything else this character says during intimate moments. This is the first time I’ve gotten second-hand embarrassment from reading a physical scene between characters. Skipped entire chapter because of it.
