Did anyone else have trouble getting into The Secret History? I don't know why but I'm struggling so much getting into it.

I finallyyyyyy got my hands on The Sweetest Oblivion
it's of course added on to my very long tor, but excited to read it!!

I barely got through the first chapter, I thought there was unnecessary dialogue about Greek information. It was difficult to follow since I don't know anything about Greece. Also long descriptions about the area of where Richard lives, his intern dialogue about his family and just whatever he's feeling in general.

whyy are the chapters so long?! I just finished chapter 2! which was better than chapter 1

So far you can see how much his surroundings, like many other children, affected him; but also confused him. As children we see adults do many things we don't understand, especially if they preach to not do certain things because of any type of beliefs that have.

His father was a jerk though.

I read "The Love Hypothesis" and I did enjoy it, not 5 stars worthy for me. There were just a few scenes for me that didn't really "did it" for me. It seemed like some of them disrupted the flow that the story was going in.

Howeverrrrrrr, I am a sucker for a fake dating trop so it already has a +1 for me.

I'm sooooo excited to read this book! I finally watched the movie after seeing so many clips on TikTok; and I LOVED it!!

I hope the book is as good or better

Reading this has been longgggg over due, but I am excited to learn more about him. As an African-American, this is truly important to me.

I want a kindle so badly! I just saw they released some new, even one in color. but I just want a simple one to read books on, doesn't have to be too fancy

It took me a while to get past the first few pages. Idk why but it was just a bit difficult to keep up with.

Around chapter 3, I couldn't didn't want to put the book down. If it wasn't for school.....

The Warden is getting on my nerves fr!!

I haven't read many fantasy/romance books, I thinks this only is my third series. I'm interested to see how this turn out, especially including the enemy-to-lovers trope.

It's of the manyyyyy books on my list that I've been procrastinating on reading. I'm finally getting into it, read some reviews and I'm so exciteddd!
