First time I’m reading a book that (partially) takes place in Galway and it’s good and high quality, no question, but also just very. Very. strange

This is not my usual book but a friend recommended it.

I never like big wage gaps between the two parties in a couple; it always makes me uncomfortable... like, why is one of them fantasising about having the other's money?
