The relationship between Kathy and reader seems a little odd- idk if it’s a matter pf unreliable narrator or just dies regarding continuity for the sake of convenience. But nonetheless still really enjoying, a lot of suspense and the characterisation is by the far best, I really feel all the characters and are very interested in their stories.

Really enjoying the mystified tone of the story and the characters experiences. I find it really interesting how memory is integrated as the central device of the plot but the fragility that comes with that is still very present

HOW IS THE ENDING SO NEAR

A novel I’ve been wanting to read since around 2019, I’m actually very happy that I’ve decided to read it now because I feel that I am at a place where I can cognitively resonate with many lines and themes of the novel, and actually reflect upon myself and my relationship with the novel and it’s characters. I think if I were to have read a few years ago I wouldn’t have understood why certain lines connected

I haven’t touched this book in around 2 years, so here’s to revisiting it soon <3
