I’ve been skimming this book for years. I just listened to her giving a 40 minute interview on Waking Up. She’s in her 80s now. She wrote this book when she was 36.

I’m going to read this in total with its annotation. Here I go. 🥰

Jesus says to store treasures in heaven, not on earth, where they can be destroyed by moths, rust, and thieves.

Jesus says, "You cannot be slaves of God and of money". He personifies money as a rival god, making it clear that money is not morally neutral.

Jesus says, "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be.” Is the book of Armageddon compatible with Jesus’s teaching? I’m thinking no.

This book just arrived in the mail. I ordered it several months ago. I really looking forward to reading it. I will keep you all updated with my progress.

So far so good! I’m enjoying the pacing and the Irish History. 1916-1921

There is a very believable love story developing and I’m enjoying that very much.
