Ouf, this is becoming dull to read. I really hope this book doesn’t become an actual disappointment further in, but it surely is walking the path towards the title...

LET'S GO

I have to say, I like what she's saying, I don't like the off-putting academic language she's using. Big complex ideas don't have to be in big complex words, it just feels pretentious sometimes.

The tone of the book is rapidly shifting from quirky to insufferable.

I gotta say the author might wanna chill on the fairy tale parallels...

I am so excited to finish this book and read something good afterward. The only reason I haven't DNF'd it yet is because it did, miraculously, get me through a reading slump. But God, I'm excited for it to end.

It's honestly so nice to be able to feel the author so acutely through the book. It just shines through, his love for stories.

Please let them be friends! Don't make them a couple just because girl+boy= romance! They would be horrible as a couple! Friends!! Please!!

I do find their romance a bit unconvincing. I love their teenage awkwardness and how different they are, the characters are truly believable and interesting. But for them to actually liek each other? I couldn't ever believe that. If they end up together there is gonna have to be a really good reason.

Brandon Sanderson's books are like rare and expensive sweets from an exquisite shop. They're made of crystals and chocolate of the highest quality. And you eat each candy with care and attention to all the flavors. And remember why you like sweets so much. NOM.

I'm tormented by my own decision to finish this book. It's soon gonna be all highlighted in red.

The writing!!! Spare me!! Also there's such an underlayer of horniness throughout it's... egh. Oh no, the triple dots got in my head.

I'm not the biggest of writing style in this book. While it's very beautiful and vivid, it just feels a bit uncomplete. The writer uses too many "..." to emphasize some feelings or ideas, and it just feels like I'm listening to someone struggling to gather their thoughts, too lost in their fantasies.

I will give this book 10000 stars and cry when I finish it.

I can't get used to the random russian words written in English XD, especially when it's the kind of words that you could easily translate. It's a bit awkward but I appreciate the sentiment I suppose

Why are they already happy and all the additional stuff in the middle of the book, WHAT IS GONNA HAPPEN IN THE SECOND PART

I'm a bit disappointed by how neither of the two main characters proved to be very likable, especially Jinni. I desperately need a book with ..just nice and decent.. people.

Rin is such a helpless child

Well, wow, this book took a big turn in the mood and atmosphere. I think it's a little too disturbing, depressing for me. It is brilliant, of course. It's written really well. Characters are well written. The world building is excellent. But plot? Also brilliant, but goddamn. The imagery? Hurts my mental eyes. Maybe it's just me for whom such violence is not suitable for, but yeah. Really graphic. Really violent.
