Okay, I am hooked. Loving the start of this story! Unfortunately I read some pretty negative reviews, so I am hesitant to get my hopes up. We shall see...

I found the first ~20% of this book fascinating. Now I'm getting tired of it lol.

I am very disappointed...I was so excited to hear there was a book that takes place at an Ohio county fair, but not like a real fair. None of the animal shows are anything like the animal shows I've been to. I am slightly withholding judgment because maybe they are super different in Amish country, but idk. I'd expect an Ohio author to go to a fair or at least ask some 4H kid before writing the book

This is getting interesting! For a bit around 10% mark I was unsure about this, lol. There were a whole lot of names and characters and I was having a hard time following (I'm also listening on audio), but now we've jumped to a different character and it's calmed down.

This book isn't what I was expecting. The first scene was a flash-forward...and apparently the only interesting scene in the book. I haven't quite given up on it but I'm close.

I am not sure if I'll be finishing this one... I feel like I have not enjoyed the last several books I've started lol which makes me wonder if it's the books or my mood...

My brain hurts but I want to keep reading 😂

This book is definitely picking up now! It's pretty clever

Okay, this is awesome! The second episode of this happens in Columbus, Ohio, and that probably made me love it even more. They made up a suburb called Hilldowns, but the moment they mentioned Picnic with the Pops, I was sold XD (and the rest of the Ohio details were spot on)

getting tired of this now... It's a cool premise but I'm ready for it to be over lol

This book starts a little slow. I think it's starting to pick up now, but I have to return it to the library tomorrow lol. The eBook is available, though, so I will probably check that out.

This book is so funny. I know that's not what you expect to hear about a book discussing the scientific challenges to evolution, but I absolutely love Behe's writing style.

It's amusing, digestible and fascinating while being very scientific and informative. It's raised some very interesting questions for me so far, and I'm curious to see what the rest of the book holds

This book took an abrupt turn at the 40% mark and we haven't gone back to the original storyline yet...I am confused

I'm very intrigued so far! I love how focused the author is on being non-biased, stating his assumptions, and investigating all intricacies of the argument.

So I'm trying to read this on audio and I'm not sure I'm going to make it. There are sound effects in the background that sometimes drown out what the person is saying and I have to listen a whole lot harder than is necessary.
If anyone is ever making an audiobook. Please, please, don't have sound effects in the background of the entire thing. (I skipped ahead and no, it doesn't stop any time soon)
