4 stars. I don’t know to what extent I would call this novel a thriller— I don’t know if there were twists that were supposed to create genuine surprise. I was not surprised by anything that happened. BUT I was hooked for the entire thing, especially with all of the different perspectives and short chapters. Could be really good for getting out of a slump.
