Finished the first short story. Twas good, not my usual preference but it was a good change.

I DNF’d her other series “from ash and blood” but really loved the first two books. Giving this series a try. Beginning was slightly boring, not bad, but I really picked up the last 10%. I’m intrigued and enjoying so far.

Maybe this isn’t about romance and maybe it’s just about friendship. I thought we were going one way but now I’m not so sure. I’m so stuck up on what happened in the beginning.

Ok - it’s growing on me. I’m enjoying it as of rn. Honestly the way it started I thought it was going to be more spice-focused but it actually isn’t and I like it that way. A good slow burn

So unrealistic it’s almost unbearable. But if I just accept it, it gets better. The FMC is just very pessimistic and very “how could he possibly like me I’m so ugly and boring 😖” like girl pick yourself up and have some self worth

Not much going on rn. Realizing I liked Hunt much more in the first book. He’s not bad just meh rn. And some of the women-are-powerful-to points are being a little overdone, almost to the point of it being cringe/annoying. Aka Bryce is being annoying.
