I finally finished the explanation of the apostles creed. I appreciate their commitment to detail but they definitely still could have condensed it a little bit. 240 pages is a bit much.

It’s taken me a while but I’m starting to appreciate his vision with this book

The way that the Catholic Church views missions is odd to say the least. Maybe it was just the wording but it seems from the way they describe it missions are arguably not necessary if it wasn’t for the fact that the Bible commands them. Hopefully they elaborate later because it seems a bit contradictory.

All I really knew going into this was that it was, at least somewhat, a modern retelling of Pride and Prejudice which is a book I don’t particularly love. However this is so my jam. The banter is pointed and hilarious and unlike its inspiration the characters ACTUALLY INTERACT FREQUENTLY ENOUGH TO MAKE THE ENEMIES TO LOVERS ARC WORK! So yeah, this is very Alden coded. The British slang is throwing me off though.

Just got to the stuff about Mary and it’s… interesting. It brought up some specific points about the specific Greek word used for brother and how it isn’t exclusively used for biological sibling. However the argument as a whole comes off like they started with a conclusion and then sought out the reasoning to prove it later.
