the amount of semicolons are so distracting and out of place and then there will be moments when they use a regular colon but that’s actually where a semicolon belongs (eye twitch)

This book is so funny it just keeps dumping the craziest pieces of backstory you’ve ever heard. “he walks into his apartment and finds his wife having sex with her mom. she does that sometimes.” “he presses a button on his neck and his head opens to reveal his artificial brain” like ok. literally ok
