Lydia is dead, she is a half asian 16 year old growing up in a family of 5 in Northern Ohio in 1977. Her mom white wants her family to stand out, her Dad James Lee just wants to fit in. Lydias mom pushes her hard to be excellent but she is isolated because of this. Her dad just wants them to be normal. Her brother knows her suffering and her sister wants to be her.
