I. LOVE. DARLINGTON.

I ❤️ the CT OCME

Misled by the back cover to believe the murder came BEFORE the new quiz group. I feel betrayed

Made the HUGE mistake of starting this on a boat. In the open water.

They get married. He refers to himself as his owner. He throws her over his shoulder bc they need to talk. I throw my kindle across the room.

Sorry apparently I didn’t read far enough down in the page. “God-given… OWNER”?????? WTF?????????? GOD HAS NO PART IN THIS MAKE IT STOP🧍🏼‍♀️

NO BECAUSE I KNOW I DID NOT READ 50 PAGES OF HIM GOING “oh man I’m so attracted to georgia… too attracted to her… she has to marry jimmy the scumbag instead….” FOR HIM TO WALK UP TO THE ALTAR AND SHOOT JIMMY IN THE HEAD AND THEN MAKE THE PRIEST MARRY THEM INSTEAD. MAKE IT MAKE SENSE 😭😭😭😭

I could SMELL the third act breakup from a mile away

Spent 20 minutes laughing with cadence in the bookstore at this book only to be dared to read it… 🧍🏼‍♀️🧍🏼‍♀️

Yes girl okay we get it you got a big chest

Fav fact of the book: early humans were all schizophrenic

I love the deep sense of dread this book gives me

In another life Jakob is a finance bro on a red pill podcast 🤧

Miss gillig must really love the letter Y the way it’s in everyone’s name

I’m OBSESSED.

What I have learned so far: babies are actually really smart and if they could speak we’d all be done for

Also being bilingual prevents dementia

Holy shit

I honestly did not to be scary but it was in an existential sort of way

“Before heading to bed, I shoot the kid I have chained up in the basement.” I’m SORRY????
