Just entered the inside passage, continuing to read Alaska.

The Russia House was the first Le Carre movie I saw. I am excited to finally read it. I swear I read all his other novels. How have I forgotten this one?

More vamp smut. Easy to listen to series, but has a lot of abuse triggers.

Totally not a review of the book but of the narrator. Justine Eyre is my favorite. Her first words " tantor audio...." And I'm already feeling soothed.

Attempting the tandem read. Highly recommend listening to .5 again before starting these two.

A friend recommended Turtledove. I chose the one narrated by my favorite narrator. Simon Vance.

I needed some Justine Eyre narration and I was already part way through this book. Starting over because I don't remember it at all.

This was my first book of the series. After listening through book 5, I've decided to come back and re-listen. I also need a brain break from the other book I'm right listening to.

I need something more light and enjoyable. Also, I'm falling behind in my reading challenge.

I need a pallet cleanser.

This is one of my all-time favorite movies. A book I listened to for Black History month suggested that planet of the apes was racist. That had me thinking about the movie and reminded me I had yet to read the book.

This book is currently being filmed in my hometown with Leonardo DiCaprio and Sean Penn. The book sounds right up my alley as well as free on audible. So, off we go to 1984 Northern California. I would have been 4.

I felt like I was missing Duncan. So I decided I had to listen to this book again. Also, I need a break from my Holocaust themed reading.

Listening to the series again. Madam bovary bored me to death once again. I need something lighter but still interesting.

Not sure what to read next. I love the narrator Justine Eyre, so I just picked something she narrates included in audible membership. The first 15 or so I've already listened to. Lol. This one is the first in a series and it has the words angels and blood. Seems like a legitimate enough reason to choose a book. 🤞

The last romance was too steamy for me; I swear that girls nipples were always jumping out of her corset. But I think I went too far the other way, this book has a bible verse in every chapter. There has to be a middle ground between nipples and Jesus.

It's a little bit like castaway plus science; one character who talks to inanimate objects, in this case scientific not sport. I will admit to being a bit bored. Some of it is incredibly interesting and I love the narrator. I have listened to a lot of science fiction that I was bored through and loved in the end, so I push on.
