I’m 20% of the way through Moonstorm. Yoon Ha Lee, I LOVE your writing. But….why did you have to use the genderless “zie” etc? It bumps me out of the story?

11/13/23 just started reading. Very interesting and easy to read. A bit too much teenage angst tor me.

I’m just 6% into The First Bright Thing, and I am flooded with this book’s beauty. It is one of the most astonishing books I’ve ever read and will now be in my Top 5 Favorite Books. I wish there were more books to read by J.R. Dawson. All my best wishes to her.

Just started this 5/15/23, after finishing Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros. I’ll keep reading the Dragon stories.

I’m almost 3/4 and f the way through this book. There’s only one negative for me; the constant romance thought of Violet about Xaden. It’s overdone and does nothing to drive the plot. I’m lease, tone it down. It’s really quite a blemish in the writing.

I loved the first two books of this trilogy. So happy to start reading the third book.

This book is utterly heartbreaking. Well-written and engaging. But it’s a difficult read, the truth of Marines in war.

This is one of the best books I’ve ever read. Seriously.

This is absolutely the most creative book I’ve read for eons. The characters, the places. I give this book a 13 out of 10!!

Just started Burn. I had read his Chaos Walking Trilogy some years ago. Burn is fantastic. I forgot how incredible his world/building is. Very interesting, creative story idea. Won’t spoil it for everyone. Just read it, if you can!

Just started this book. Right from the start I am drawn in with the authors gorgeous images and way of writing. A must-read.

I don’t think I’ve ready anything by this writer, but his name is familiar. I’m just starting the book and I’m overwhelmed by his writing. His descriptions and images and the use of words.

I’m about 50% through this book. Extraordinary! The story of Antigone by Sophocles, 5th century BC Greece, but told as a future world sci fi story. Amazing book.
