so interesting! I’m completely absorbed in this bizarre story that has such an interesting world, and complexity behind it.
the protagonist is such an interesting figure, and I’m fully in love with every word he’s written!

so to further elaborate on the previous log, I joined an anonymous book club called Page 36, and the book they gave me just so happens to be the very book I’ve been meaning to read next lmao

so far I’m really loving it!
so many creative desicions that are so interesting!
I can’t wait to see how the rest of the novel turns out, cause so far I’m in love <3

So, I’ve been meaning to read this book for some time now.
Since I saw the new Backrooms movie, I’ve been interested in related material

This book had been brought up numerous times. Piranesi is a novel about a house that goes on for infinity and is supposedly an inspiration for the movie.
What interested me most about it is that Chiwatel— the star of Backrooms — is actually the narrator of the audiobook!

chapter 2 was so good! made me cry like twice, and laugh my ass off ten times as many times
it also dug into this really lovely existentialist (with a dollop of absurdism) itch that lines up my my ideology to a T, so that was lovely :)

this book is crazy! i’m really loving it
I’m writing so many notes in this book too
just writing away, highlighting anything that seems significant
it’s super fun!

super weird, just finished the long introduction as well as the first chapter of The Navidson Record
I am on Page 8 of the Navidson Record which (I believe) translates to page 34 of the entire book (as there is 26 pages before the Record starts)

that #1 footnote on page 657 when he says “I am certain” kinda freaked me out
here’s hoping that little number one comes back and pays off!
