It’s an entertaining debut so far. I have notes but it’s generally enjoyable.

I rly love this author but wooooooof. this book……. I’m trying. 🫠

Doing a series reread before I start Murtag (fuckin FINALLLLLLY)

I'm struggling with this one. I really love the author, and have read at least two of her series. This one ... I'm too early to have the best thoughts but it's taking a minute to actually get into. I might need to hit pause and loop back later.

“He didn’t shake. He didn’t move. He just fried the fucker to a crisp.”

🤌🏾

Whyyyyyy is this motherfucker always CONFRONTING HER AGAINST A WALLLLLLLLL. Bro.

Parts of this remind me of the expanse (esp the anarchists sanction). I’m enjoying it!!

Broooooo. Vallah is becoming such a birch lol

She’s such a brat in this book but I kinda like it lol

Here we fuckin goooooo

TOO MUCH GOING OOOOOOONNN.

MY FAVE CHARACTER DIED I AM NOT OKAY. 😤😡😠

Unfortunately for me I ship Daniel and Vahlla 🫠

Prince Baldair’s arc might be my favorite. He starts out as a Hoooeeeeee but turns out he’s the most logical and emotionally astute character??? I stan.

I love the story but I am plagued with THOUGHTS and OPINIONS.

I love this author but I can tell it’s one of her earlier books bc some of the tropes she loves to write (and does better in other books) are a bit rough on this one.

But I rly enjoy characters so I will be carrying on! It’s fun to read the evolution of an author I like.
