This book is SO good already. Ken sees things in such a unique and beautiful way.

I loved Anathema so it pains me to say this but I am this 🤏🏻 close to DNFing this book. The pacing is painfully slow. It feels like Keri Lake didn't know which direction to take with this book so took them all. It's hard for me to believe that this is the same author as Anathema and Nocticadia :(

Eating these up which is totally unexpected as they're not my genre but I'm enjoying the dramatised graphic audio

This book is 84 years long. I'm hoping it will come together now because I'm starting not to not care. It started off really well.

The info dump at the start just about made me dnf even though I couldn't remember anything important from the books but now things have started to move along I'm quite enjoying it. Especially with the introduction of some well known characters.

The pace of the last book was SO good and this has started incredibly slowly again. I think the flashbacks have their place but could be less.

I know this book is slow burn but there is almost no interactions between the fmc & mmc. There's more chemistry (platonic) with his friends. I'm invested though.

I'm a bit bored tbh 😐
