taking this one slow to make sure i’m absorbing & thinking on it. I realize my favorite part of her writing is how she writes about the bay area & california. she’s taught me so much about californian history (just from reading the white album) that this felt natural for me to pick up

a very interesting choice to use british vernacular writing this considering the main character is american, and the author grew up in america.

sometimes fantasy can be hard for me because I wanna skip all the info you have to learn in the beginning and get to the story, but so far this one is a page turner for me!

i’m not super into this one but i’m too far in for me to put it down
