Emma > Recent Status Updates

I’ve been inspired recently by two things. The first one was; I want to read everyday for an hour atleast or try to. This is because I want to be consistent and build a compounding interest. Even if I read only 10-20 pages a day I’m a week that’s 100-200 pages. The other inspiration was my sister, she wanted to read this one and I decided I’d like a good laugh so hello don Quixote del marina.

I feel as though the beginning of this book was interesting since Conrad had done a fine job at writing the ocean and the life of a man at sail. Then we welcome the main character to a land of colonization and the white man along with slavery. Although not explicitly stated. I just think Conrad at this point in time has nothing to say and progress the story and causes me to lose interest in his silly words.

I lovely piggy, he makes me material and I just want to make him feel loved and protected

I’m going to try and read this book but it will be a slow process
