this highs are good so far, but i hated jeevan's pov and the book keeps cutting away from the symphony (the actually engaging part) right when the plot is seemingly going somewhere.

such a bittersweet collection of short stories. keeping me busy while at work this week (and probably for a bit next week as well).

this quickly turned into a horror novel, though i'm not sure that was the author's intent

standard mass market historical fiction so far—nothing crazy to write home about

interesting philosophy of huxley's idea of utopia, but i'm still waiting for the plot to start in any meaningful way. he's very much telling and not showing here, to the point where it feels like he should've just written a manifesto at times.

typos are obnoxious. he is so close to finding a deeper understanding but repeatedly falls short or gets off course.

i am going to have nightmares about cathy

this is like haruki murakami for women who think they are blair waldorf from gossip girl. not sure if thats a good or a bad thing yet.

cant put this down....... will probably finish it today or tomorrow
