It’s really tough to get through this. I feel like it discredits witchcraft with the level of trauma being described. It’s hard to feel inspired. The amount of imagery and fluff in each sentence that holds little actual meaning gets tiresome.

I thought that inmate was a bad nickname but somehow lightning bug is even worse. It ruins everything for me each time he says it!

I was hating the romance for most of the book and wondering why the hell she wasn’t in love with kellan! I loved the ending and I’m curious to see what happens in the next one.
