Rereading this inspirational classic for the... Fifth time I think? Need the kick.

This began with a very cool premise of the moon breaking into pieces, and the eventual, cataclysmic results. Highly enjoyed it at first, but the book is so long, plot began to feel too clinical - this happened, then this, and I really wanted to see how the cataclysm eventually played out, I found myself slogging thru and no longer enjoying the read. Wish otherwise, but will likely not finish.

Only just realized this is book 3 of a series. Oh, well, will continue, be interesting to see how it stands alone since I haven't read any others in the series.
