Going to have to wait to read this one as the net galley arc is a hot mess-the formatting is atrocious, no fault of the author, I’m sure.

This is easily the best work of nonfiction I’ve read this year; life as a member of the border patrol, filled with far more humanity than one might imagine.

This is making me want to run out and buy a bookstore...

Only half way through it and already thinking of all the people I want to gift it to... extraordinary.

Each time I read this book (especially the audible version, narrated by the author), I recognize it’s value, its worth ten times that of any other book on my shelf; this is the book I’d rescue in a fire.

My first Wiley Cash, I’m hooked, great writing.

This has taken a turn for the worse; so tired of negative religious rhetoric used to promote plot and define characters, so unnecessary and tedious.

Excellent non-fiction reading alongside “The Power”, adds perspective plus its fascinating stuff.

Can’t even begin to describe what a perfect read this is having survived the worst wildfire disaster in California history in addition to learning of an iconic Hollywood mogul’s lascivious side. So perfect.

Slogging through this...love Russo but this second story is meh.

Sipping it, don't want it to be over...Strout, proving once again, she is a master storyteller and empathetic observer of small town life.

Re-reading this makes me realize just how awful the televised version is, what a shame.

"Honey, by the way..." is quickly becoming the most terrifying lead-in I've ever read.

Reading for the 2nd time, I vaguely remember who did it but don't remember why; best part is the detective team, the original duo in TF's Dublin Murder series, Ryan & Maddox - they're a riot.

Tearing through this crime-suspense debut novel, set in a small town in Australia during a terrible drought. (These people are so desperate you can feel it right thru the pages.) I think I've drunk more water since starting this book than I did in the entirety of last month.
