Okay 150 pgs in... I am into it and intruiged but it does feel like it is moving a little slow. I am liking the beginning chapters with the cast interviews, it is kind of reminding me of the way The Favorites is written but we need to get into some moer action here.

Also I am putting this in writing that this is the last book I read on a whim that is not on my physical TBR for at least two months, seriously.

However, I think if you consider the events in her life that have brought her to where she is now, she has every right to not want someone who is currently self-destructing in her life. Seriously this is so devastating. I hate that Abby has geniunely made me care for both Chris and Mike. Yes Mike is not being a great boyfriend, but he feels so realistic in that he is truly trying. He is trying to connect with her mother, trying to provide the extra support she sometimes needs, trying to be interested in the things she is interested in. It just isn't really enough and that is so sad

The scene at the fancy restaurant just made me want to hide

This book is crack to me just like all of her others. I am sat and I’m loving it

The scene after she has clementine is actually jarringly sad and personally a feeling I’ve thought I would have problems with in the future. The way this book is written is so interesting

I’ve had a true chuckle like 3 times already reading this book

Sometimes the narrator drops a subtly about how the her story goes in the future, like how she stopped leaving marks of where she had been when she was all alone, and then just quickly continues in the story and I love the casualty of dropping info like that

I have highlighted pretty much every page of this book on my kobo already. This is going to be a 5 star read and I need the physical book asap

“I have nothing to say. They told you I have secrets. You tell me they told you I did. Well, so what?” Okay our main character can get it

So anytime she asks a question to these ladies they respond on some variation of “what point is there in your knowing, since it can’t happen to you?” Which in a way feels a little bit to me as a call-out for burying your head in the sand on things we should be educating ourselves on even if they don’t directly pertain to our lifestyles/way of living
