This book is actually ripping my heart out and everything hurts inside me rn. But also Memnon and Roxilana’s relationship is nothing like I expected and every interaction between them is actual perfection.

I thought I loved Memnon before… my love for him now knows no bounds. Laura Thalassa knows how to write a man. I have no words truly

I have been so slow to read this and it is solely bc *spoiler alert* whenever an HxP story separates them or Hades is gone for an extended period of time I cannot cope or get through the story as quickly as I can when he is in the story. I will get through this someday 🫠

I’m fucking whipped for this book!!! The plot!!! The tension!! The mystery!!!! (Ok I’ve guessed most of the mysteries but do I care??? NO) I haven’t felt this way about a book in a couple months. Is this going to drag me out of my reading slump??? I sure the fuck hope so. And Devryk???? The way I fall for these fictional men so easily sickens me.

I’ve only read bones POV once because it’s new and I forgot how fucking hilarious being in his mind is. Book literally has me laughing out loud the entire time I’m reading it

Absolutely obsessed with this Hades x Persephone retelling. I usually don’t like retellings inspired by the myth, and I’ve never read one before where the gods are Fae, but this is so well written and interesting and fun. And the banter and tension is my favorite thing ever.

I forgot how quickly I get through these books, they’re like a drug. Or rather, Bones is the drug.

Re-reading my favorite series for the 29363629 time. Maybe it’s my favorite because I read it for the first time when I was 13, but imo it’s perfection, just like Bones is.🙃

I decided to set aside my current hatred for Raihn and read the second book. I’m still not over the ending of the first book and I’m angry every time Raihn shows up, truly don’t think he’ll redeem himself for me because he could’ve made another choice, ughhhhhh.

I’m not a Crier, but when Persephone and Hades are forced apart from each other and their last day spent together brought me to tears.. the way the author described their pain was heartbreaking. Even though I already knew their separation wouldn’t be forever.
