I had a feeling. I had a horrible feeling from the beginning that the girls were all gone. I’m hoping a couple are still alive somehow but hopes are low.

Finally getting more of Rory! I love him
Love the gargoyle.

I’ve suspected for a while that her eyes are stone? That maybe that’s why they wear the veil but we shall see

I like the way this book is going!
It’s very interesting seeing six’s beliefs slowly unravel.
I wish I was seeing more of Rory though. I feel we haven’t got enough of him and Six’s relationship.

This book has come so highly recommended by a friend that I absolutely will finish. I was in a reading slump and went straight into this high fantasy and my brain was like nope.
So I am giving it a bit of a break but I cannot wait to finish

Currently thoroughly enjoying the world building and the start of this book.
I am a bit unwell so my tired brain is struggling to concentrate, yet I keep picking it up and trying to!
