Ok hear me out. I read the first book because friends suggested it. I liked the second half of the book when we hit the twist. So I was like, let’s see how this one will compare. I’m half way in and I’m bored to tears and slightly annoyed. Seems like Millie’s inner thoughts are so repetitive and always wrong. This better pick up soon because I don’t like to give up on books and stop reading.

I’ve read this book before over 20 years ago but I’ve been on this rereading old favorites again kick. I like to see if books are as good as I thought they were when I was younger. It’s been an interesting undertaking!
