It’s been a long time since I’ve stopped reading a book because it was boring. I’m kind of reaching that point…which is so disappointing.

The way I care for each young girl in the story is breathtaking. I love them all so much and I hurt for each of them. I’d argue their story is more important than the present day plot.

I need to stop reading this at night. I’m scared.

I’ve been hooked from the first page. The prose is so detailed that it’s sickening. I feel right there for every moment. The two timelines have few parallels outside of the central building and murder ofc. I can’t put this down.

Tbh I feel like I’m missing something. The narrator is extremely unreliable which I’m sure is purposeful but there seems to be no grow happening to anyone. Things are happening but the plot nor the characters are progressing. It’s just falling very flat for me.

I just feel like I’m halfway and nothing significant has happened. Similarly the characters are so slow to reveal their backstories which I think is on purpose but still annoying.

Slow start with a surprisingly light tone.

So happy I picked this series up again. It’s been at least 2 years since I had the last book. The series has gotten better which each book and this one has been an absolute treat. Genuinely keeps me guessing, which is hard to do.

It’s been so good but it’s also giving me a spiritual crisis. I wish I could find the same peace and resolve as so many of the characters.

This has been a true ode to adolescence. It’s sickening how relatable the need to feel wanted and excepted shines through. I’m scared to continue.

Feyre is so dense it makes my head hurt.

EVERYTHING has been so predictable which is making me a little mad. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good. But if something doesn’t shock me here soon I probably won’t read the next book.

Yes guys I finally did it. By popular demand I have started my ACATAR journey. And it’s smutty Beauty and the Beast? The world building has been fantastic though.
