When I read the beginning of the book, judging from the characters’ reactions to Ivan’s death, all I could interpret was that Ivan was dead, and everyone was eager to know how his death could benefit them. For some, it was about job positions and promotions, while for Ivan’s wife, it was about the financial benefit. It made me sad. No one seemed truly grieving. Interested to understand the book further.

Interestingly, this isn’t a traditional whodunnit, the killer is revealed from the start. The real tension seems to lie in the pursuit rather than the mystery itself. As my first Stephen King novel, I’m impressed by how quickly the story establishes momentum. A promising start.

Such a beautifully illustrated book. Just a couple of pages in and I already understand something about myself.

This book was somewhat relatable. We're the same age, and sometimes I sort of feel like I'm slowly expiring 😂😭. The universal truth is becoming my actual truth, just kidding, Allahu Alam. But all jokes aside, it was quite funny. I really liked that it was made into a comic. Loved it ❤️.

This was an impulsive read, but the book is quite funny and somewhat relatable🤍.

I recommend my sisters in Islam to read this book. If it weren’t for the fact that it’s 6 a.m. and my eyes are feeling the strain from all the reading, I would have read straight through the pages because it’s that good, MashaAllah. May Allah reward those who contributed to this book. Ameen.
