realized the last example i gave wasn’t a good one so here’s another: nate says he didn’t know about the blackmail, yet a few chapters back nora literally tells him about the blackmail

i don’t think this book had an editor. there are so many moments where a scene contradicts itself. for example: chapter 31, nate was shirtless when he arrived in the kitchen and then the next 2 page state he’s in a shirt? there was no transition to him slipping a shirt on.

very weird and really disrupts the flow of the story which is a bummer considering how well the yearning and inner dialogues are

very descriptive, often repeating the same things and the dialogue seems to be lacking a little

but so far liking it (i love books that are descriptive)
