Having a Black narrator on the audiobook really really brings this to life. And OOF it’s a steamy one 😮‍💨

My jaw keeps dropping every few chapters, the plot twists are shocking. Even tho I don’t know if this is about conservation, trauma, murder, or an ecological novel I’m loving every second of it.

This book has single-handedly reignited my love for cooking.

If you like Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil and T Kingfisher, this is for you.

Idk man this one might be a DNF. The premise is…shaky at best and doesn’t remotely compare to Bloom.

Gosh I don’t know how Becky writes the coziest robot sci fi with queer characters that also defies capitalism but it’s like a warm mug of hot chocolate that you know precedes the best night of sleep you’ve ever had.

It’s like watching someone live my life.

Despite me growing up Presbyterian and not Catholic, I am astounded at the thousands of tiny similarities in our mindsets. This is already so healing and good.
