I’d argue there’s too many points of view! I can barely keep up & I’m listening to the audiobook where every character has a different narrator!

“…Louisa slip into the role of matriarch without ever officially being part of it, and instead of refusing or resenting that role, she created something so absolutely beautiful for them to share”. Louisa is a real woman, no real woman would refuse or resent caring for her family. I’m so sick of anti-family values in literature.

This is quickly turning into a much worse version of the “Rock-Hard Beautiful” series. I don’t think I see myself continuing past this book
