Read lord of the flies in 36 hours challenge starts now. Second challenge: talk about it in German class in German about childhood at the LMU

I was dreading reading this book for my class but I actually like it so far I hope this doesn’t change. I have so much other work to do but because it’s good it’s alright.

I like my cover a lot better than the one that they show on Goodreads. “He’s just like me.”

It took my a while to realize the dog was the narrator in the beginning

I’m sure I would find this oppressive and obnoxious if I was reading it in English. In German it sounds that way, but at least it’s in German.

Honestly not getting the hype yet

I hope this doesn’t become another book I just start and not finish. Reading it in German. Of course I wonder understand entirely all of it but that’s what the novel is about, you only really ever kriegen pieces of it
