I love and adore gibs. But I don’t understand how people who “love him” don’t see how destructive and toxic his coping mechanisms are. We actually have no idea who he is. The closest we get to seeing the actual Gibs is R10, and that’s pre/during the trauma. I cannot wait to see him get help and actually grow into himself 😫

1. Lizzie took herself out of the friend group not only for Hugh but so she wouldn’t cause problems with Gibsie
2. Gibsie inserts himself, knowing he’s a trigger for Lizzie, even if he doesn’t understand why
3. Lizzie gets called a bitch bc he keeps getting in her space & instigating conversations with her bc of the way he’s speaking to her friends
