Spoilers:
I don’t know how I’m feeling about this book. I loved it so much when I started that I immediately bought the hard copy. (I was listening to it on audio from the library.) But we are only 100 pages in and she’s talked about how she wants to have sex with most characters she comes across. She’s already met the main MMC and they are instantly comfortable. I’m wondering where it can go from here.

I was liking where this story was going and that it still had its investigative charm. And I understood the need to show the Pip was struggling and pushing people away even though I didn’t like it. However now it’s turned into a different story and doesn’t feel the same. I’m not sure I want to continue but I’m so far in.

Enjoying it so far but feel that there is an overuse of ignoble and pith. Then using the f word and it takes me out of it a bit because it feels out of character for the diviners. Interested to see where the story goes.

Oh my goodness my heart keeps breaking in this book. It’s so good.

I’m finding it hard to follow at times. But it’s getting into the flow of things now and I think I’m beginning to understand.
