Initially, the authors voice shone through very clearly. It was apparent that she personally loved Oxford, but oppositely wanted to paint it as the intellectual flagship guiding British imperialism. This seems to have integrated more congruently as Robin grows into his life at Oxford.

It was hard to follow. We aren’t taught geometry this way in mathematics today.

Newton describes spherical motion using geometrical arguments. He and derived Keplers law, that a planet sweeps a constant area in a constant time
