I’m not saying it’s wrong to set boundaries but I feel like as a society, we have normalized being overbounded that it has compromised the level of intimacy or the emotional exchange we could have with one another.

Now, it’s funny because this book feels like a middle finger to that overboundedness.

Had to log my progress because I want this book to pop on yall’s feed. It’s funny because I was in a state of mania when I first read this book a couple of years ago. I found it dragging and boring, but now, it’s that book that makes me appreciate the craft of writing—for the sake of writing. I can’t stress enough how much I’m enjoying this book without showing all my annotations
