The story’s actually getting pretty decently interesting

I’m not gonna lie I just came back from military training so I’m basically coming back to this and trying to piece everything back together because I’m too lazy to start it over. So far, it makes like. Little sense to me and the plot seems all over the place but I’ll keep reading bro. Some of the conflicts here are actually pretty entertaining enough to keep my attention from straying away.

The world building in this is absolutely insane. It’s so incredibly detailed! I found it so foul that the handmaid’s say “May blessed be the fruit” as a greeting. As saying that the handmaids are “blessed” to have the role they do now because they have fertility. I’m not used to reading books like this, but it’s really interesting so far!!!

Frances almost thinks like I do in a way. Just not exactly. She’s funny to me sometimes. I did giggle a little bit to myself in some pages where she’s thinking to herself. Anyway, I didn’t expect the reveal of Aled being the creator of Universe City so soon. I would have thought it would have been near the ending of the book. Cool stuff.

This might be super picky, but the perspective changes in this book keeps throwing me off. I keep getting confused on where the characters are and who’s talking due to the author having the perspectives suddenly mush together.

The book is pretty decent so far. The storyline is a little off to me. I noticed that the wordings in this book are a little weird and sometimes it’s difficult to tell who’s talking.

Currently, I have a feeling like Anders is the one behind that written in blood word on the wall. Also, a little peeve I had with this book is that the protagonist keeps saying things about people’s eyes. For example: ‘Regret in her eyes’ how does Tierney know they feel regret with only their eyes? It feels weird to me that she can tell people’s emotions by just looking at their eyes.

Some of the sentences in this book could use some improvement. There was once sentence where it got me stumped on who Tierney was talking about.

So far, the story is pretty good. Although, I dislike the way there are no paragraphs, making it a bit hard for me to focus on these long paragraphs with no particular end to them most of the time. This is the first book I’m reading that doesn’t technically have chapters. I think it’s pretty smart that the chapters act as seasons in the book, as like actual time. That was a smart idea.

It’s great so far! And I really. REALLY. REALLLYYYY hate the Prince guy named Cardin or whatever his name is. Taryn has a reasonable reason to try and ignore their actions, even if it affects them both. I wonder if she would do anything if Jude or Vivi get hurt.

Story line is going good. Did not expect Amy to do that☠️ and also, Joe uses the F word way too much😭 like calm down dude!! Also, Harvey, please stop it with the “Am I right or am I right?” Nobody is laughin man☠️☠️☠️

So far, going good. Although I don’t seem to make sense of why Mira cared about Brecken and Harper’s relationship. Nothing seemed off about it.

The way Natalie shows Mira’s car-sickness feel way amazing. I almost felt it myself. The part where the car ran over Corey was very well put. Also, the word ‘softly’ is way overused .

So far, the story is getting interesting. Although, there were some sentences that sounded weird and off. And also some other things that don’t quite make sense to me.

Why do the characters keep bringing up majors? It might answer my question more later in the book though, so I’ll see. Like on page 12 it says “We hang up with him” which sounded a bit weird. Maybe “We hang up on each other” instead?

The blurb for this book really interested me! So I got it!

I also noticed a possible mistake in the 7th page. Where it says the following: “Six of them. Zari, Dad, and three from Mom.”
It says there were six of them, but altogether, that’s five. 1 from Zari, 1 from dad and 3 from mom. That equals 5. If it does equal 6 somehow, perhaps this could’ve been worded another way.

Anyway, going good so far!

Definitely did not expect Sunset to do that to Rain😅And all this time I thought Ghost was a Lynx and turns out he’s a polar bear!! That makes a lot of sense. Erin Hunter did a great job on not making it obvious of what Ghost is.

I feel super bad for Ghost. Having to take the blame for Winter’s death is horrible. Story is going great!

The story is going pretty good. But I just say that the change in perspectives that happen so often is kind of throwing me off. But so far, pretty cool. I must say, the way Erin Hunter shows emotions without saying them aloud is pretty well done.
Rain is probably my favorite so far, since I kind of relate to her!

So far? The setting is being captured so well! Right from the beginning, I was able to picture the setting clearly.
Their talk about the dragon speaker kind of reminds me of when talking about religion. So In a way, I understand why they’re nervous of why they had to go through such a flood.
