10/10 loved the fight and the ending of wondering if ansgar and Evie would have a prospering relationship

I loved the ending fight I was enraptured the entire time and the ending wasn’t completely happy and we still get a wonder of how ansgar and evie’s relationship will turn out overall 9/10 book I would read again

Love good fight scenes I was enraptured and the end with a not super happy ending made everything even more realistic however I am still upset Evie and ansgar ending up not all the way together even after the pining 9/10 book

No not the southern aunty 🤣 for a fictional world this is all too realistic I’m loving how addy and brand’s relationship is developing and the wall breaking is perfect

This mama reminds me a lot of my own mom and just how no nonsense southern women are lol. It’s sweet we get a little side part of her son being happy for her and her new relationship

So the dead guy fight scene was funny 😆 and the writing of both couples showing off Evie and ansgar is super cool we love sarcastic blonds

I love Addy’s character already and Dooley is such a sweet pup both little spit fires

The book was good. I only wish it focused more on the romance than on the friendship because it is a romance book. The only complaint but these books have helped get back into reading romance books.

As the book is coming to an end my thoughts on the couple are they work together, and it isn't forced they work well, and the girls are all powerful and show great traits. The book wasn't a terrible read but it's more of a book I would only read once.

Ok Daniel grew on me he's pretty funny and it helps he's a big nerd. I feel though the female friendship is more of the center than the romance which I am definitely not complaining about. The two have chemistry and it isn't too forced that it's uncomfortable but it's not the greatest.

Alright the guy seems a little two-dimensional, but i hope his character gets better. I just hope she can focus on the pact and not get side-tracked. I really enjoy she's a girl focusing on her career instead of a man.

I love the beginning! Instead of the three girls blaming each other like in other cheating scandals, they blame the guy, bond over the experience, become friends and make a pact to focus on themselves. I love the female empowerment

Romance books written by non-white men are amazing I can tell. The depth between the characters wasn't black and white, they had to work for the love and makes everything way more realistic. I think I'll read more of Armas when i get the chance.

Welp I knew it was too good to be true. Not a huge fan of miscommunication trope but I do like the introduction of Aaron's dad since all we here of him is this big tough guy who pushed his son away. It reminds me of how a sickness can really change a person to understand their wrongs and want to fix them while they still can.

YES! A romance where the guy finally falls first. The fact the family loves him too is a bigger plus. The confession was so cute as well and him even learning Spanish in order to speak to the family is wonderful. Standard of men has been raised.

Yes! I love Armas shows the struggle of wanting to stand up for yourself and fight your own battles but also wanting someone to help you out. Also, the mutual respect the two characters have for each other is a perfect first step in their relationship. This trip is going to be a whirlwind.

I was never one to read romance books because the ones I have read were always the same of the girl falls first and the characters were always two dimensional. However, first reading this I am so excited the author inputs herself a little into the female main character (fmc). She's a "stereotypical" Spanish girl of being loud, proud and a hard worker. I love the dynamic too between the love interest as well.

“a corpse was contemplating me” after liberation and finally looking at himself in a mirror he could see a corpse of himself. It’s sad that this is the truth for many who survived the holocaust and especially as a little kid. The noble peace prize Wiesel earned was truly deserved with his painful and real writing.

It’s depressing how drastic the measures were that men were jumping the father over bread. As a weak old man in his dying days the idea of surviving a little took over the empathy or sympathy they should feel.

Reading the phrase “They’re bombing the Buna factory” also put a smile on my face like Wiesel’s. The way he writes I feel as though I’m here with him watching this torture and seeing this pain. It’s incredible but what broke me was him saying they were no longer scared of death. That the pain and suffering was worse to endure then death itself.

He states he would never forget the first night in the camps and the shear will to live he felt. As a person who has also faced intense pain (not of this degree) I understand the feeling of just wanting to survive. To see another day and to one day see the day he is free. It can be hard and through the book he states about wanting to give up but he kept going and it’s an amazing thing

I picked this book back up from freshman year due to the new wave of Jewish insults Kanye has been spewing. The fact Elie Wiesel has gone through the worst genocide of world history and was able to write the pain and horror he went through is truly inspiring.

After finishing reading I really have a new found respect for what I’ve been through and it helps that I know now that I’m really not alone I’m my quest to find myself. Like she said in the intro the 2000’s didn’t really make me gay but the pop culture has truly shaped and fined my idea of myself and I’m ok with still learning as knowledge is put out

SOMEONE FINALLY POINTED OUR THE BIPHOBIA IN MEDIA!! All my life bisexuality was seen as either “an excuse to cheat”, “confused” or ”the gateway to being gay and I should just pick one already” My whole life I’ve had to explain the cruelty behind the biphobia (I’m look at you sex in the city) it’s a relief to hear someone else state the harm that the words “bisexual” and “lesbian” aren’t dirty words

Something that I enjoy is that Perry didn’t understand who she was right away. I didn’t know a fraction of who I was until middle school and even now I still question things like my gender. Looking back to my younger years it makes sense now that I related to these characters that felt trapped and scared because they were different it made me feel like I didn’t have to know the answers right away.it helps with stress

Also ms oster I forgot to write my reviews as I read the books 😅 so that’s why they aren’t spaced but I genuinely loved these books. Something the author brings up is the term “coming out of the closet” arose during this time and to me I don’t like the fact that my sexuality should be seen as something I need to speak out unlike heterosexuality. I’m no different because of who I am because of this.

Growing up I also was in a household that being gay was terrible and you should hide who you are. Harry Potter was my favorite series growing up and learning that dumbledore, an adult who was a mentor and great wizard was gay was great but also the hidden aspect of it and that only now with the new fantastic beast is out that it is “accepted” it really can feel like queerbaiting.

And they finally lived happily ever after. This book really felt like a more satisfying ending then the original

Wow after everything the beast stays a beast, it’s very realistic but that still hurts

Last chapter to go!! I can’t wait this fight has been amazing
