Pretty sure I’m going to write this one off as time lost. Because I just...don’t care.

Joe seems like a controlling jerk. Nora doesn’t seem like she deserved anything that’s happened to her.

There’s no good way to resolve this story and I just...don’t care.

It’s disappointing for a book that, just from the description, seems to check all my boxes.

So. Amazingly. Dull.

I’m going to go ahead and bet that whatever year California became a state, it’ll be the chapter number.

It’s possible I identify too strongly with Tiffany.

Full disclosure: I am now hate-reading biographies that feature Ernest Hemingway. Because I loathe him.

And if any of them could go more than two pages without some other hideously contrived nickname popping up, that would be great.

There's not a word for how excited I am to find there are three (count 'em) Leverage novels.

I'm not sure I like anything as much as I like the "Hell as corporate hellhole" trope. Satan as a harassed middle manager? Awesome. Grunt working demons who complain about everything? Priceless. Eternal damnation reduced to a ridiculous quota system? Gimme more.
