Idk the twist yet, but rn it is heartbreaking reading from the mother in law’s point of view

This is such a fun read so far. I have giggled and grimaced the whole way through

Took me a minute to get on the main characters level as far as humor goes, but I’m here now and cackling

I love how diverse these characters are and you can tell how much love went into each of them

I feel like this is dragging on. Nothing has really happened yet - just build up. Getting bored but really trying to stick it out

😅 if you might be triggered by something, I beg of you to look into this one’s trigger warning list before starting. Very spicy but still good world building and character development. I also don’t really know where we’re going with it, so I’m pleasantly along for the ride

I do say the words “ew” and “barf” on a regular basis listening to this book but in a cajoling way… so am I gonna rate it 5 stars? Probably. But would I recommend it at that level - naur.

All the pieces are coming together but I don’t see the way out yet

Not my normal kind of read but I’m enjoying it quite a bit. I get a kick out of the academic language and the rewriting of history

It’s been a while (probably since Chain of Gold) since I’ve wanted to stay awake unreasonably late on a work night to continue a book, but this one has me hooked

Some of the description reminds me of Oscar Wilde and I keep getting distracted but I’m in it now
