Overrated

Nooooo, I had to close it. I don’t for how long. I am speechless.
Hurt people hurt people
and hurt spoiled children… well… they torture bodies and souls.

I expected a culturally colourful story and an authentic light thrown upon the afghan history. Sure, I supposed there would be some heartbreaking parts on war and the death of your homeland as you know it. But I DID NOT expected THAT experience of the main characters. I feel like smn opened up their darkest experience to me, gave me their hurt in which I could see myself, but now I have no idea what to do with it.

M-am îndrăgostit în această iarnă de “Izgoniții” lui Ernu. Cred că am ros urechile tuturor prietenilor despre cât de bine scrie autorul ăsta. Și am ajuns acum să pun mâna pe o altă creație de a sa. Până acum… dezamăgire. “Sălbaticii copii dingo” îmi pare prea repetitivă și prea plină de sine. Parcă e un eseu scris de un elev de clasa a 10-a despre cum și-a petrecut vacanța de vară.

My god, how ironic is history. 100 years later and I can totally relate my contemplations to hers, only soaked in more capitalism and meaningless things that steal your attention.

Got after page 100 and honestly, I’m already bored. If I wanted to read some yapping about day to day problems I would read my journal. I hope the story will be saved soon. Neither the ‘Avery plot twist’ didn’t do anything to me at this point.

Now THIS is good writing. Hooked from the first sentence
