… this is the most speechless I’ve been about a book in a while. Legendborn was… incredible. Extraordinary. Remarkable, as my favorite character Selwyn Kane would put it. I genuinely don’t know what else to say. I didn’t even need to think about my rating, and I don’t give five star ratings easily. I’m beyond excited to start the sequel, and I swear if anything happens to Sel, I might break.

Okay so….. Believe Me made me cry. Not surprising. Happy tears, though. What a wonderful way to end a series. I am determined not to get into another book slump, which is exactly why I chose Legendborn to be my next series. It had sky high ratings and so much praise, so I’m hoping I will love it enough to save myself from a book slump after finishing Shatter Me. Fingers crossed.

I’m so happy. After the emotional rollercoaster that this series was, finally everything comes to a happy end. At least I hope. All of the characters certainly deserve it. Can’t wait to read this novella and see how things finally end for these characters that I’ve been reading about for months. :)

I knew things could only remain semi-happy for so long…

The ending of Defy Me had me crying tears of joy.
And now I get more Kenji.
So life is good rn. Really good.
And I can’t help but think that Imagine Me is gonna screw it all up…

Okay… I’m so lost. The ending of Restore Me left me in shambles, I was so scared for everyone’s safety and terrified for Juliette’s sanity after she murdered 600 freaking people all at once… only to find out that Kenji experienced a completely different scenario in Shadow Me, in which everyone, including everyone Juliette murdered, survived?! I’m so confused. I need explanation and I need it now.

AHHHHHH YESSSS!!! The only thing I disliked about the ending of Ignite Me was my beloved Kenji being seriously injured. That’s it. Everything else was perfect. Can’t wait for this one :)

I gave Fracture Me three stars, simply because I can’t stand Adam Kent. Is that wrong of me? Maybe. Do I regret it? Not a chance. I loath Adam Kent for too many reasons to name, and I am going to start Ignite Me right away so that I may read more of Juliette, Warner, and Kenji.

Oh… my… goodness… it took my forever to read Unravel Me. I had almost no time in between college classes, track, and coaching a soccer team. But now college classes are over, track is coming to and end, and I am obsessed with this series. I am team Warnette all the way, probably because I just despise Adam with all of my being. I can’t wait to see what happens next!

Holy cow… that was a new side of Warner that I didn’t expect to see. I pretty much hated him all throughout Shatter Me, but now… seeing how in love he truly is with Juliette… seeing how he actually seems to have humanity… I’m not sure how I feel now. I guess I’ll just have to dive right in to Unravel Me. :)

I won’t lie… it took some time for me to really get into Shatter Me. But oh man… once I did, there was no turning back. Waiting to get my hands on the novella was torture. So excited to continue the series!

AHHHHHH!!! I loved the Inheritance Games so much, and the ending was absolutely perfect. I’m afraid I’m going to be in a reading slump, which is why I have decided on shatter me for my next read. I have wanted to read it for a while now, but I was a little on the fence about it from some of the reviews I read. Hopefully it will be as good as I think it will be. I need SOMETHING to save me from the slump…

I have no words… absolutely none. The Hawthorne Legacy had so many twists and turns that it was hard to keep up at times, and now that everything feels like it should be resolved, the “final gambit” is still to come. I’M SO EXCITED! Team Jameson all the way! Let the finale begin!

Okay sooo… The Inheritance Games was so good?! I can’t wait to continue the story. As for whether I am Team Grayson or Team Jameson, I am undecided. I was Team Jameson for most of the first book, but now I’m having second thoughts. I love them both, and I want to see them both happy… but if their happiness revolves around who gets to be with Avery, I’m guess only one can win. It really is a Hawthorne thing.

Okay…. This is the second book I have chosen over The Eye of Minds. Maybe I just shouldn’t read it. But I’ve heard that this is a fantastic book that bears a passing resemblance to Knives Out, which I loved, so I have high hopes.

Ughhhhhh. It’s going to take me forever to read this. It’s always hard to start another book after reading one of Cassie’s masterpieces. At least I’m familiar with the author of this series, the author that happens to also be the author of my favorite book series of all time. Maybe that’ll help at least a little.

AHHHHHHHH!!!! I have been waiting for well over a year for this, and IT’S FINALLY HERE! It’s almost hard to believe that it is here, sitting right next to me as I write this. Chain of Iron left me emotionally damaged, and I’m sure this book will too (like all of Cassie’s series finales) but at least now I can get some closure and finally see the beloved characters happy. I stopped The Eye of Minds for this.

Why not? Why not dive straight from Warcross, with its detailed technological system, the NueroLink, into The Eye of Minds, with its own completely different detailed technological system, the VirtNet? Why not go from one brilliant hacker protagonist to another, from Emika to Michael? If I love The Eye of Minds half as much as I loved Warcross, this series is going to be a wild ride.

I finally found this! I have been looking for it for years, and I finally get to read it! I figured I would knock this out quickly before Wildcard just like Free Four.

I saw this a couple months ago and wanted to read it, but I was in the middle of a different series (I don’t remember which one) and eventually forgot about it. I just saw it again a couple days ago, and now that I’ve just finished Warcross, I figured I would read this before officially starting Wildcard so as to avoid forgetting about it again.

My…. heart. I’m severely regretting not waiting to read Life After Legend I until after I finished the Warcross series. Now my mind is hooked back onto Legend. Seriously tho…. what a beautiful epilogue, a simple rewrite of the epilogue in Champion but from Day’s point of view, something I didn’t know I needed. Now, enough of that. It’s time to dive back into the world of Emika Chen.

Ummm, I actually LOVED Warcross! It was everything I’ve ever loved about Marie’s books and more. However, Legend, in all its glory, maintains its position as my favorite series by Marie Lu, so the fact that I discovered this new novella at the end of my copy of Warcross almost made me faint from excitement. I have been searching relentlessly for this novella, and I am so pumped to read it!

Another Marie Lu masterpiece that I don’t doubt for a second I’ll love. This will probably tear me into pieces like every other book of hers, but I’m all here for it.

THE CLIFFHANGER!!!! I need to start this asap, because my heart and mind are broken from the first book. I need Leo and Naomi back together, I can’t do anything else until I see that happen.

I have been anticipating this book for a long time. I was wary of it at first, but the high ratings have encouraged me to try it. It will be a nice transition after the heartbreaking ending of The Midnight Star, a nice break. High hopes :)

Took my awhile to get my hands on this one, and after the way that The Rose Society ended, I will need to start right away.

I am so excited to read this book. The Young Elites was so good and I absolutely love Adelina. I was furious to see the Daggers betray her and I can’t wait to see how she exacts her revenge in this sequel.

I have no doubt that I will enjoy this book. I loved Legend and Skyhunter by Marie Lu, and this book sounds just as brilliant as those two.
