Already starting off better than ballad of songbirds and snakes. I like that I get to see this from haymitch’s perspective. Still don’t like songs in the book. I really liked the twist that led haymitch to get selected! I knew he would be chosen but I was thrown off by how it happened!!

Good so far but not enthralling. Good enough if you just want to sit down and read something but you don’t know what/ don’t want to have your brain on

Wonderful! It has provided an in depth view of how the title of “white evangelical Christian” has become interchangeable with conservatism, republicanism, and even trumpism in a story told through the perspective of a journalist who had the unique opportunity to sit down and interview influential people who have caused division in the church and those who have been impacted by this binary divide. Would recommend!
